Installation options for
steam injectors

Steam injector installation in-line, in a tank or hot water station

Installation
inline in a piping system

Steam injectors can be fitted with fixed or loose flange fittings, clamped or threaded onto or inline with piping.
Our steam injectors can also be mounted in a tank to heat water or other liquids. The temperature of the medium to be heated increases very evenly and the medium cannot burn. The injected hot steam heats the liquid in the tank directly, while mixing it at the same time, resulting in a good homogenisation of the medium.
By connecting steam injectors one after the other, a high ∆t can be achieved in a pressurised flow of water during a single pass. In other words: very rapid direct heating. The liquid is heated in one go as it flows through a hot water station. A number of interconnected steam injectors are controlled and regulated by a thermostat to deliver a constant amount of steam. Each hot water station can be optionally equipped with maximum temperature protection.

Steam injector
example

Water with a flow rate of 6000 litres/h is heated from 20 °C to 90 °C by 3 interconnected steam injectors of type RKE 40/25 with a steam capacity of 3x280 kg/h = 840 kg/h. When multiple injectors are used, water can be heated
with a large ∆t. Available in various sizes, arrangements and installation options.
